♡ barefaced truths
Tuesday, December 2, 2008, 12:07 PM
For yesterday's.
Went M'sia last night.
Couldn't have imagined going there without our own transportation. Such a long-winded idea to take the public transport instead. Let me tell you the way to pass through both Singapore and Malaysia's checkpoint was a no easy for I-have-my-own-car bratsy pampered people(which doesn't only include me and Selena, both the parents too).
Despite going to JB for the umpteenth of times, mum is still vague of the way. At that very moment, me and Selena keep chanting Taylor's and Hayden's song just so hoping that we're not lost somehow. Its okay if we're lost in Singapore back home. Singapore's a pretty weeny puny city, or may I call an island instead. But please so not in Malaysia. In your own consciousness, you think you're in JB, but in your lack of realisation you're in an-other city state.
We have our passports checked before arriving to the Malaysia's checkpoint.
At then, mum keep reminiscing her thoughts on her working hour in the checkpoint before she transited to Port.
After passing through Malaysia's checkpoint we waited for the bus for almost half an hour.
Mum chatted with some Malaysians and leave me and Selena unspoken.
We keep exchanging books then. And I keep pointing out the fact that she reads super slow. Maybe 10s/sentence just so to understand the one-page passage.
Then took a 15-minute chartered bus to this place.
ET cetera ET cetera there.
Had our late dinner at McD. Since the only restaurant with air-condition in working.
I place the order and have it paid for 40bucks(not my money though. Dad's.)
Ate our fill and board the bus170 back to checkpoint. The ride was a little uneasey with Malaysia's road texture-bumpy rides and all that. I couldn't concentrate on anything then. Just gazing at the moonlight which stood perfectly elegant shining the starry Monday night.
Then we queue-d for the checking of passports. Zomfg, there's this guy who acting all insanely singing and behind me and mum(for in actual, he's behind me.)
Mum try to halt back her chuckles, while me trying to get off the the counter as per possible. Selena and Dad was beside me on the other lane.
All 3 of them passed already. Left just me and me.
Insane.
Just so as soon as we were outside the arrival hall, Mum, Selena and Dad let out their laughings with all the people staring at us. Yea. Self-humiliation.
So much so, yesterday's a real family day. *Sigh*
P.S. Mum's making lasagna. Yay. It was a real long time since I ate pasta. And I mean a month ago. Lols. I'm off.
